EDUCATION

The DAR supports a variety of different educational programs, contests,  and awards. Students are invited to become involved and participate in these different programs. Reference this site for useful information and materials about the DAR educational programs for local schools and communities.

Educational programs for local communities include: awards for students, scholarships, and essay contests that encourage students to be patriotic citizens.

Massachusetts State Society DAR supports schools throughout the country, such as the Hillside School, located in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

DAR Library   
The DAR Library is one of the nation's premier genealogical research centers.

Genealogical Research System (GRS)  
The GRS is a free resource to aid with genealogical research.

Forgotten Patriots   
This publication focuses on the important contributions made by African American and American Indian patriots of the American Revolution.

DAR Museum Programs  
Educational programs for all ages are offered through the DAR Museum.

Americana Collection Exhibits
A vast collection of early American manuscripts and printed materials are on display.
